Thanksgiving & special intention

Our adult religious education program, RCIA, will begin on Tuesday
night, January 8th, from 7pm—8pm @ St. Theresa Hall.  Please call
our Church office to register if you are interested in considering the
possibility of becoming a Catholic or if you are a baptized Catholic
who would like to receive the Sacraments of First Communion
and/or Confirmation.  Deacon Chris Doumit will teach six classes:
Jan. 8, Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb. 19, Mar. 4, and Mar. 18.  These classes
are also open to anyone who would like to learn more about his/her
Catholic faith.

Thanksgiving Day falls on November 22nd this year.  Once again there are baskets in the lobby of Church
if any parishioners would like to participate in our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Please contact our
Church office with names of truly needy families that you are aware of.

Friends Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th, at the Community of
Jesus Crucified in Lafayette.  The day begins at 9am and ends at 12 noon with
the celebration of Mass.  Registration is not necessary and everyone is invited!

A Salute to Our Veterans.  
Loreauville Elementary is hosting a ceremony to honor
all of our Veterans on November 12th @ 9am.  All veterans and members of the
community are invited.  We will recognize all the veterans present, students will read their essays on
Veterans Day and the 3rd grade class will sing the National Anthem.  Any veterans that are interested in
sharing their thoughts at the ceremony should contact Monica Hymel 229-6253 or 229-6253.

Our Baptismal Seminar is held on the 2nd Monday of each month @ St. Theresa Hall. Parents &
Godparents must attend this class before the Baptism of their baby.  The next class is Monday, November
12th, @ 7pm.  Please call our Church Office to register.

The pilgrim statues of Our Lady of Fatima will be at the homes of the Shane & Brandi Walet fly. & Shelly &

Our Sanctuary Lamp this week burns for the M/M Octave Judice, Sr. & fly.; Jeff Viator fly.

Our St. Joseph’s Eucharistic Adoration Chapel is in need of prayer partners to spend time with our Lord

PARENTS - NEED AN EXTRA DAY TO SHOP?  
The St. Joseph’s Youth group would like you to know that we will be putting on a Mother’s Day out on
Saturday, December 8th from 8am to 2pm for children potty trained and up.  We have crafts to make, a
Nativity movie, and pizza.  The cost is $30 for the 1st child and $20 thereafter.  In order to have enough
materials for everyone, you need to register your child (ren) by November 26.  You can call Jeanne Stiles

The Council on Aging will offer free hearing tests on Tuesday, November 13th, from 9am—11am @ St.
Theresa Hall.

We are in need of help sorting groceries on Monday, November 19th starting at 1pm in St. Theresa Hall
for the Thanksgiving Baskets.  On Tuesday we are in need of drivers, Safe Environment Certification
Required, starting at 9:30 am.  If you can help please contact the church office @ 229-4254.
