The final opportunity to attend the mandatory Diocesan Safe Environment for Children Seminar will be
offered on November 10th @ St. Theresa Hall @ 10am.  Parishioners whose ministry is exercised in the
presence of youth are required to attend the initial two hour training session and, after that, are required
to attend a one hour continuing education seminar every year.

Our adult religious education program, RCIA, will begin on Tuesday night, January 8th, from 7pm—8pm @
St. Theresa Hall.  Please call our Church office to register if you are interested in considering the possibility
of becoming a Catholic or if you are a baptized Catholic who would like to receive the Sacraments of First
Communion and/or Confirmation.  Deacon Chris Doumit will teach six classes: (Jan. 8, Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb.
19, Mar. 4, and Mar. 18).  These classes are also open to anyone who would like to learn more about
his/her Catholic faith.

Thanksgiving Day falls on November 22nd this year.  Once again,
we are inviting all catechism children to bring non-perishable items to
their religion classes each week so that we may assist the needy in
our community with food at Thanksgiving.   There are also baskets in
the lobby of Church if any parishioners would like to participate in our
annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Please contact our Church office with
names of truly needy families that you are aware of.

Friends Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th, at the Community of Jesus Crucified in Lafayette.
The day begins at 9am and ends at 12noon with the celebration of Mass.  Registration is not necessary
and everyone is invited!

Our Baptismal Seminar is held on the 2nd Monday of each month @ St. Theresa Hall. Parents &
Godparents must attend this class before the Baptism of their baby.  The next class is Monday, November
12th, @ 7pm.  Please call our Church Office to register.

Some of the most treasured memories of Christmases past are memories associated
with Church.  The music of choirs, the smell of incense, the Christmas trees in the
sanctuary and most of all the Crib, the resting place of Jesus, the One whom we
celebrate during this Holy Season.  If you know someone who may not be as closely
associated with the Church as at one time, a special invitation can be sent to them
from Bishop Jarrell to encourage them to Come Home for Christmas.  Please submit
their name & address to our Church office.

A reminder to Fall Back, set your clocks back one hour, on Saturday night, November 3rd.

Fr. Mario will take the final week of his 2007 vacation time from November 5th - 13th.  Fr. Paul will be
covering for him during his absence.  Fr. Paul will take his vacation time during the month of December
when he travels back home to Nigeria.
