Question: Was that Fr. Mario driving a fancy sports car down Main Street in Loreauville this past
Sunday afternoon?
Answer: Yes.
Question: Since we at St. Joseph’s have increased our weekly donations, has Fr. Mario used our
money to buy himself a new sports car?
Answer: No! (I wouldn’t want to answer to God for something like that on Judgment Day!) The
nice car belongs to a St. Joseph parishioner who offered to let Fr. Mario take it for a spin.
Please rest assured that Church monies are only spent on Church expenses! Sorry if my attempt to
have a little fun by driving a parishioner’s sporty automobile caused anyone concern! Boy that got
the grapevine going this week!
Fr. Mario
