Dear Parishioners,
During the last 3 months I have tried to adjust to the noise caused by people entering in and out of
the bathroom and Adoration Chapel in the rear of the Sanctuary. Unfortunately, this high traffic area
has continued to be a major distraction for me, and often during the most critical parts of the Mass.
Sound proofing the hallway is out of the question due to return-air factors.
Therefore, beginning in May we will start locking the rear doors of the church approximately 15
minutes before all Masses, and reopening them immediately following each Mass. For those in need of
bathroom facilities, the St. Theresa hall restrooms will be available during weekend Masses only. And
for Eucharistic Adorers, I ask that you please re-schedule your hour of Adoration during non-Mass times.
I know that this will be a little inconvenient for some of you, and so I beg your consideration and
understanding. I am only trying to provide you with the most solemn & reverent liturgy that I am
able. Thank you all very much.

Thursday, May 1 Workshop/Meeting for all Extraordinary Ministers and Lectors @ 6:30pm.
Our Baptismal Seminar is held on the 2nd Monday of each month @ St. Theresa Hall. Parents &
Godparents must attend this class before the Baptism of their baby. The next class is Monday, April
14th, @ 7pm. Please call our Church office to register.
The pilgrim statues of Our Lady of Fatima will be at the homes of Betty Suire & Jerome & Michael
Weber fly. If you would like one of the pilgrim statues to visit your home call Fran (229-4896) or
Carolyn (229-6492).
Our Sanctuary Lamp this week burns for a special intention, Elaine Dugas, Lorena Dupoy
The Vocations Chalice will be in the home of Joel and Fran Dugas family this week.

Bar-B-Que Dinner for Rectory Garage Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Victory Life center.
Tickets will be sold after the 8:30am Mass Sunday in front of Church. Donations are needed. Contact

Those of all faiths are invited to join in this monthly lunchtime opportunity for fellowship and spiritual
education. MONTHLY MANNA will be held at the Forest Restaurant, Franklin La. on Wednesday, April
16th. The Presentation begins at noon. Lunch is served @ 11:30am ($8.00) For more information call

Altar Society members can pick up Membership Due Envelopes at the main entrances of church.
The Knights of Columbus Blood Drive is scheduled for Sunday, April 13th from 8am to noon at St.
Theresa Hall.
The Office of Vocations supper for Young Men will be held on Tuesday, May 13, @ 6:30pm at the
residence of Bishop Michael Jarrell. It is customary that the pastor, a deacon, or a religious accompany
the candidate to the Supper. For more information call the Director of Vocations 261-5690.
