St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Coteau Holmes will sponsor
its annual Passion Play “Watch the Lamb” on Palm Sunday
(April 1st) and Good Friday (April 6th) with both performances
beginning @ 7:30pm.  All are invited to take part!

The Man-to-Man Catholic Men’s Conference will feature guest presenters
Dr. Alan Keyes, Danny Abramowicz, and RADIX musical group.  
The event will be held on Saturday, April 14th, @ St. Thomas More High

The members of our St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society are reminded to please submit your 2007
membership dues.  Dues envelopes are available at the entrances of our Church.

Our annual St. Joseph Church Bazaar will be a ONE DAY event this year (Saturday, June 9th).  
Please mark your calendars now and plan to join us for the fun!

The Louisiana Garden Club Federation is again sponsoring the Cleanest City Contest on March 28-
29.  The aim of this contest is to instill civic pride in the individual citizens and, thus, improve the
appearance of Louisiana’s cities and towns.  Let’s all work together to make our great State
cleaner and more beautiful!  Loreauville’s judging is scheduled for March 28th.

A Tornado Survivors’ Outreach is scheduled for Saturday, March 31st, from 10am - 12noon at
the Our Lady of Victory Church Hall.  There will be small group discussions for adults and children.  
Immediately following the free lunch, food and cleaning supplies will be distributed to the affected

The Catholic Daughters of the Court of Good Council will celebrate their 61st anniversary on
Saturday, March 24th, @ our regular 4pm Mass.  All members are asked to sit as a group.

The Council on Aging Meals Program is in need of 60+ volunteers to help out.  Please call Judy

Catholic Engaged Encounter is a quiet weekend away from the cares and distractions of everyday
living; presented by married couples and a priest who tell their real life stories about the sacrament
of Matrimony.  Upcoming weekends are April 20-22 and June 1-3.  For more info visit www.

One of the electric candle racks in our Church lobby has been repaired after being vandalized.  
Please insert $2 and then press the red button located near the candle that you wish to light.  
The other candle rack should be repaired soon.

Vesper Prayers will be prayed on the first Sunday of each month @ 5pm @ St. Joseph’s Church.  
Please join us on Sunday, April 1st, to join in these beautiful prayers of our Church!

Our Baptismal Seminar is held on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Our Lady of Victory Life
Center.  Parents & Godparents must attend this class before the Baptism of their baby.  The next
class is scheduled for Monday, April 9th, @ 6:30pm.

Sunday, April 15th, is Divine Mercy Sunday.  Please join us for a Holy
Hour of prayer from 3pm to 4pm at St. Joseph’s as we ask for God’s
continued Grace and Mercy.  We will pray the Holy Rosary, the Divine
Mercy Chaplet, and sing songs of praise to our Lord in the company of
our Savior, Jesus Christ, truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

O my Beloved Saint Joseph, adopt me as thy child, take care of my
salvation, watch over me day and night, preserve me from the occasion
of sin, obtain for me purity of soul and body!  Through thy intercession with
Jesus grant me a spirit of sacrifice, of humility and self-denial, a burning love for Jesus in the
Blessed Sacrament, and a sweet tender love for Mary, my Mother.  Saint Joseph, be with me
living, be with me dying, and obtain for me a favorable judgment from Jesus, my merciful Savior.  
Amen.

The Diocese of Lafayette requires each Church Parish to offer Parish Council elections every April.  
If you would like to serve our Church in this important capacity, please submit your name to our
Church Office (229-4254).  Our Parish Council meets every other month at our rectory for about
an hour.

A Walk for Hope is scheduled for Saturday, March 31st, @ Park de Lafayette on Jefferson St. in
Lafayette.  The one mile walk/fundraiser is to provide support for local families affected by Autism
and to increase awareness in our area.  Registration will be @ 8am with the walk @ 9am.  For
