Joseph Church.  Fr. Thomas Habetz will offer Confessions from

The Louisiana Garden Club Federation is again sponsoring the Cleanest City Contest on March 28-
29, 2007.  The aim of this contest is to instill civic pride in the individual citizens and, thus, improve
the appearance of Louisiana’s cities and towns.  Let’s all work together to make our great State
cleaner and more beautiful!

Our Baptismal Seminar is held on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Our Lady of Victory Life
Center.    Parents & Godparents must attend this class before the Baptism of their baby.  The
next class is scheduled for Monday, April 9th, @ 6:30pm.

On Sunday, March 18th, St. Joseph & Our Lady of Victory Catholic Churches will host their St.
Joseph’s Altar at the Our Lady of Victory Life Center following the Sunday 10am Mass.  Everyone
is invited to this potluck meal in honor of St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ.

Vermillion Tours has a trip scheduled for March 23rd to the Vatican Expo in New Orleans.  For

The Diocese of Lafayette requires each Church Parish to  offer Parish Council elections every
April.  If you would like to serve our Church in this important capacity, please submit your name
to our Church Office (229-4254).  Our Parish Council meets every other month at our rectory for
about an hour.

A Walk for Hope is scheduled for Saturday, March 31st, @ Park de Lafayette on Jefferson St. in
Lafayette.  The one mile walk-fundraiser is to provide support for local families affected by Autism
and to increase awareness in our area.  Registration will be @ 8am with the walk @ 9am.  For

When a person attached to sin starts to pray, either the sin will stop or the prayer will stop.  If the
prayer stops, it is because the person likes the sin too much and is not yet willing to let it go.
