Our adult religious education program, RCIA, is held on Tuesday nights, from 7pm—8pm @ St.
Theresa Hall.  Please call our Church office to register if you are interested in considering the
possibility of becoming a Catholic or if you are a baptized Catholic who would like to receive the
Sacraments of First Communion and/or Confirmation.   (Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb. 19, Mar. 4, and Mar.
18).  These classes are also open to anyone who would like to learn more about his/her Catholic
faith.  

The 2008 offertory envelope boxes can be picked up in the lobby of Church. If you are not
currently an envelope user and you would like to become one, please call Gail at our Church office
@ 229-4254.  If you have trouble locating your box, please contact Gail.

Fr. Manny Fernandez will offer a special Healing Mass on Friday, February 22nd, @ St. Joseph
Church.  Confessions will begin @ 6pm and Mass will begin @ 7pm.  All are invited to attend!

Holy Trinity Catholic Resource Center located on 103 Amaryllis opens its doors.  You are invited to
come and share our joy, browse the library, tour the facility, including the Radio Maria satellite studio
and enjoy the music of Lynn August on Saturday, February 16th from 10am to 2pm.

The Secular Carmelite Community of St. Joseph, Guardian of Carmel in Lafayette, invites you to join
them on Saturday, January 26 from 9am-10am at the Carmelite Monastery for a presentation by
Secular Carmelite member, Anita Trahan, entitled,
“The Role of the Laity in the Church”.  The
Secular Carmelite Community is sponsoring this to enable them to share elements of the Carmelite
Spirituality with anyone who is interested.  No registration is required and there is no cost to

Our Baptismal Seminar is held on the 2nd Monday of each month @ St.
Theresa Hall. Parents & Godparents must attend this class before the Baptism
of their baby.  The next class is Monday, February 11th, @ 7pm.  Please call our

The pilgrim statues of Our Lady of Fatima will be at the homes of the Marcus &
Sherry Hebert & the Elaine Lemoine family.  If you would like one of the pilgrim

Loreauville native, Fr. Darren Eldridge, will conduct a Lenten Day of Recollection on Tuesday,

All are invited to participate in a March for Life with a silent Eucharistic Procession from the Grotto
on Main Street to St. Peter’s Church in New Iberia.  The March for Life will begin @ 5:30pm on
Tuesday, January 22nd.  Following the March, a Mass for Life and a five-day Rosary Congress will
follow at St. Peter’s Church in New Iberia.

Registration begins on January 14, 2008 for St. Joseph School in Jeanerette.  There will be an Open
House at the school on January 30 from 8:30 until 11am and again from 7pm until 8pm.  For more

A Workshop for Proclaimers of the Word and Ministers of Communion will be held at St. Peter
Church Hall, New Iberia on Saturday, January 19 from 9am to 12:30pm.

The Diocese of Lafayette Office of Black Catholic Ministry
will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Mass and
Celebration during the month of January.  The 2008 celebration
will be held January 18, 2008 at the Cathedral of St. John the
